Job Description:

Veestar Property Management Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner for The Laureates, a residential building located in Vancouver, BC. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the building’s exterior, front entrances, lobbies, elevators, hallways, stairwells, gym, fitness area washrooms/change rooms, garbage and recycling room, and loading bay/driveway.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize entrances, lobbies, hallways, and stairwells.
• Maintain cleanliness of elevators and gym facilities.
• Ensure fitness area washrooms/change rooms are clean and stocked.
• Keep the garbage and recycling rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Perform daily litter patrol and exterior cleaning tasks.
• Report any maintenance issues or property damage to the building manager.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are properly maintained.

• Report any property damages and burnt-out lights to the building manager.
• Report any areas of concern which the building manager should be aware of (e.g., doors not latching, buttons not working in elevators, broken common area door handles).

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
